Dog Training Help.

ok i have a year old Golden Retriever. Shes very smart and we are training her to be a therapy dog for visiting nursing homes and hospitals. shes a perfect dog for the job the only problem is she doesnt like be left by herself. So she wont stay when i give her the command. What is the best way to teach my dog to stay so i can walk about 20 feet away from her without her moving? thanks for the help.

okay, one way is using a positive voice when you give them the command. they will respond better. you can also give them treats, or show them the treat beforehand, and give it to them after they do it correctly. it works for my dogs=]
