I’m having the same problem…but it wasn’t always acting up like this before.
Everyone is having this problem, its an issue with the site not your computer or internet connection. once you press the send reply button your reply has been posted up, instead of refreshing you can just return to the homepage, shoutbox wherever as normal. we just aren’t seeing our posts go up but they are going up :)
lol same problem, i was stuck on one post waiting for a reply to my reply for about half an hour, i refreshed the page and there were like 40 more replies after mine :(
The site is constantly doing ongoing matinance and it does strange stuff for each user. Over time it gets fixed but the problem is another is quickly to arrive. Just try to work around the best you can for right now until the admins can get it fixed.
It was mentioned as a theory that this is a change in the site that was done intentionally, as to save space or something.
hopefully thats wrong.
I didn’t know it has been three days, but I know just about everybody is having the problem. It’s the site, not anybody individually.

Yes, it happened to me too. I thought it was my computer, thanks for telling us, I was worried.
It’s great to know that it is not my computer. It makes replying so much slower

So I assume they know about it then?
More then likely, which is why there is always work going on.
Mine just improved hugely. Now when I send a reply, it just jumps right up there…good luck though….edie

Yeah I know…I’m talking to a girl on another post about it. It seems as though alot of people are thinking that it is only their computers…well, I just hope that they get done doing whatever they are doing to this site so that it gets back to, er, um, hehehe, normal…..LOL

I hope so. This is getting too tedious for me to be doing.
Yeah exactly. I keep hoping for that day when I sign on to help, and everything just goes like clockwork…smoothly…hopefully that will be soon. But this has been going on for at least 6 months off and on.Well, I guess it’s just a matter of not letting go of hope…OK gotta go and click the refresh to get this one out…LOL…

I wish they’d just kill the server’s connection and have IT storm it for 48 hours: bloody mySQL structure.

I’ve been wondering that for a while too. O.o It seems random new users go find old posts and reply on them a lot…
One of my guesses is that it is a normal user who felt like saying something and didn’t want it to go on their profile or while using their anony icon… Just a guess. XD
