How can I get to sleep easier?

I really struggle getting to sleep at night, but this is the least of my sleeping problems. First, my bedroom does not have a door and for some unknown reason my parents refuse to allow me to have one. Every night, someone is awake at 2am and turns on the passage light, which always wakes me up. I try telling them, but they ignore me. Second, my cats wake me up every night as I am the one who feeds them. The kitten also runs up and down the stairs all night scratching things. I tried solving these problems by sleeping in a room with a door, which took out the first problem, but the second remained. I would really appreciate help here!

would sleeping pills allow me to sleep the whole night with no disturbances, even if someone came and shone a bright light in my face?

I tried meditation once to keep me calm… “start with breathing in 5 counts and hold your breath for 5 counts and exhale for 8 counts…” only think about your breathing and the counting of breath… funnily enough everytime i did it i fell alseep so used this as something to help me to get off to sleep instead of keeping me calm! Other than that herbal sleeping remedies may help.

ok question and an idea?

if you room does not have a door how do you get in.

and apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head, apply brick directly to the fore head,

if not then either fake yawning (it works some times for me) or drink warm milk

do not take sleeping pills otherwise you will never get off of them

lmao the room obviously had an open doorway! otherwise she would be held under her will and asking for more than just help to sleep lmao herbal sleeping remedies aren’t addictive ;) that has really made me laugh… how do you get in if you have no door lol

i see exactly what you are saying in theory they could allow access via a window only, however if they had gone to the lengths of ensuring there was no doorway then they wouldn’t want this person to escape! i would hope this person would have been more concerned to ask for help about being released than and asking for help to sleep lmao

maybe the dreams of the door are waking her up, think about it what if there once was a haunted door one time in the house, now it haunts the nightmares of the children in the room

maybe she needs to sacrifice a door to god in order to get to sleep
