Any positive IRS experiences when you’ve owed taxes?

I’m worried…

How have you been getting through it? Has the IRS been reasonable with you in working out payment plans or other agreements? I recently found out I owe money from a mistake my preparer made over 2 years ago, but I can only afford to squeeze by possibly making a very low monthly payment at this stage in my life. It’s a frightening situation. Has anyone been through this who had a positive experience dealing with the IRS?
