Also, there is no new site now, nothing new will happen but more ADS
I don’t mind more ads. There is space, but that refresh thing is quite annoying. Especially on the main page.

What it means is that members have to click LOTS more. Are they going to try and pass this off as increased page views or something? It’s seriously the worst idea I have seen since.. well I can’t think of anything retarded enough to compare it with.

Has help.com run out of rubber bands and Silly Putty? Or did someone forget to feed the squirrels that power the server? Anyone else having trouble with posts not scrolling? After every reply I send, I have to reload the page in order to see it. I’d throw a rock at my computer, or Iraq, but I don’t think that would help.

Helpy, when and if you read this post, I don’t mean to by hyper-critical. I realize you’re dealing with a lack of capital budget and are trying to keep the site from lagging. But auto-scrolling of posts was one of the few (possibly the main) advantage this site had over other forums. If auto-scrolling of posts is gone, that’s a really big loss.

The 700 Club was just an example; nothing like that is in the works. I know there are lots of people who enjoy it, and that it’s founders are involved in many charitable projects. I just have an aversion to televangelists or anyone who makes vast sums of money from religion. And I think it would be a mistake for help.com to be run by any particular religious group. As it is now, this place is open to people of all faiths.
The minor toil has already instilled itself into my fingers. It only took about 1 week to accomplish this proficiency.

well as much i like his site its pushing some buttons, and not in a good way. it is beyond annoying. i can’t even seem to get new post unless i have to keep clicking with the “help me with: so and so” beneath the names or invites. i think they need to kinda redo this site or well not to change it i like it as is
