Some middle eastern asian dude who live around 2000 years ago according to religious scripture. Depending on which belief system you subscribe to he was either the son of God or God reincarnated upon Earth.

i think jesus is who you want him to be. many religions believe in more than one lord and to them, there would be many jesus’s. in christianity, there is one jesus. depending on how much you have been exposed to religion in your life, you may or not believe in jesus.

I think jesus is an elder brother on the spiritual plan, teaching us were all an incarnation of God.

Jesus is a device people use so that they can stop using their brains to solve their own problems. This works by believe that you will be saved after you die, as long as you suffer and sacrifice now. This kind of “religious faith” is a tool used by those in power to make sure everyone else is in check. While most people are too busy going to church and forgiving their enemies, we have a handful of people who are accumulating mass amounts of wealth and destroying the world (Google: economic crisis). GOD, or whatever you want to call it, certainly exists, but the Jesus thing is a big fairytale

I think he’s some guy who had some good ideas about how to treat others and live life, much in the same way Ghandi, Buddha, or Mother Theresa did.

While I do believe Jesus did have good ideas on how to treat people but people took his word and used his image for the worse and got it mixed up…Livinit4fak makes a point…to be truthful most women I know that are weak or have been hurt by men usually convert to christianity for the simple idea that this man will love them etc…and to this day i will never forget how bad I wanted to knock some sense into my ex when she said “i just want jesus to hold me in his arms” wtf is that…

I have no idea. I used to be a christian, but am not sure anymore. So yeah, I guess he’s like Big Brother - watching everything you do and waiting to kick you in the ***! Sorry Jesus! If you exist . . .

Jesus is what you make of him. the horrors of this world can’t be blamed on him when he has already sacrificed so much to make sure that we can have eternal happiness. the only way to appreciate true paradise is by going through hell to get there. so by showing him to us he counter-acts faith and makes paradise worthless. we can’t see paradise but it is there. we just have to believe and fight for it.
