So many jobs that are in fields I have intrest say

they require 3-5yrs experience, but I can’t seem to find how Im suppose to get the experiance that is relative to the job. Example is I want to be a cable technician for comcast.

Or get on with comcast in general, the question is how does one get started with them?

You’re supposed to volunteer as an intern and then they offer you a position after a while when you become irreplaceable. Try it - it works.

Ill have to see about that, I tried getting on with them two years ago even had an appointment to meet for an interview. Traveled 1,100 miles, because I was also looking to relocate but when I got there at the appointed time. They said theyd never even heard of the guy.

Talk about feeling stupid and taking a confidence hit in one blow…

Find a mom and pop company and work for peanuts until pop shows you how to do the job then show up at Comcast and tell them you’re a pro. Only rich people get to intern… how do you work for free?

Depends if you have your parents to support you.

You can always join the military - great work experience, zero expenses, a reasonable salary and in the US you also get lots of respect from ppl for doing it.
