For the dieters and weight conscious out there…

..

Im always getting asked how to lose weight on here, I came across this and thought Id post it for you. It names the worst junk food restaurants and what to stay clear of. As Ive told a few of you, its easy to consume a days calories in one sitting if you don’t watch it, the average female needs around 1,500 to 2,000 calories a day. One way to lose weight is to leave the visiting of junk food restaurants all together if not for your weight, for you health. :-)

Woo, sounds really good hon, make exercise fun which is what we all want. I just wish people would at least give exercise a try, you feel so good after wards, and as you probably know the endorphins start to flow, and the feel good factor is great. Ive studied fitness and nutrition for years, and I worry more about peoples health than I do the actual weight thing, so much ill health comes from being overweight its untrue. Where we live junk food restaurants are going up nearly every day its so silly, how do we expect to bring down the obesity rate when we refuse to give people enough alternative.

yes its very tru
being healthy shud b mor of a prority to anyone than being skinny or w.e
i had this friend wen i was yunger
he wud exercise all the time
go biking, roller blading, play hokey, etc..
but he was always overweight
but that didnt mean he was not healthy
he was one of the healthiest kids i knew
he was always moving about
but the reason he was over weight is because it was genetics from his parents and family
so i gues maybe the fact that he was overweight, gave him the insentiv to work out and therfor become a healthier person
i on the other hand, come form a family who has no over weight people
therfor i can bascily eat all the junk food i want and stil keep a good weight
i think this is why i happen to eat unhealthy
but its not the only reason
also the fact that my mom never cooked
she wud always buy fast food, mircrowavable dinner, etc..
so in turn thats all i wud ever eat
wich is something i rely dont like doing lol
anyways now that i am older, ive decided to learn to cook
and i dont mean 5 mintues instant rice or popping something in the microewave
i mean buying ingredients and making meals from scratch
im going to try to eat as healthy as possible
which is something i think a lot of people shud do
becus rely ther arent that many restaurants that hav healthy food
i kno subway is good though
i usualy get a tuna sub every week
and incase anyone doesnt kno of this
eating too much tuna in a short period of time can b unhealthy because it has mercury which can b harmful in large dosis
but anyways
for anyone who has the money, time, and guts to do so
i recomend living in italy for about half a year
any city is good
but preferably rome wich has amazing food
or maybe if ur up to it, a small town with AMNY many stairs lol
2 years ago i went to a borading skool in a small town in italy
there wer stairs everywher
and since it was a tiny town
ther wer no macdoanlds, burger king etc..
ther was only good ol mediterranean healthy style food
with lots of daily stair climbing =]!
i lost about 20-25 pounds in 5 months
i literly had to buy new pants cause the ones i had before kept falling down lol
but yea, basically.. pasta, veggies, pizza, exercise, travelling, etc…
how cud u go wrong?
giv it a try if ur up for it
its rely a worth while experience :]

note: italian pizza is rely the best! no rumor =p i fell inlove with raviolis and pizza over ther, i wud eat non stop and then burn off all my calories walking around rome:] which is great cause wen ur travelling u dont hav a car so u do a lot of walking hehehe
and sory this post is EXTRMELY long, i jus rely enjoy writing.. :S

Take a look at the Chinese diet much of their diet , has chicken and lots of different vegetables, and of course rice. I don’t know about you, but sumo wrestlers are the only fat Chinese people Ive seen, if you take a look at the diets in other countries where people don’t have such a weight problem, you often find it a much healthier diet, with proteins and veg.

Healthy eating and exercise are probably the best kept secrets in the world for healthy weight loss. I cut back on carbohydrates(sugar and starch) and started exercising. In the first month I dropped 30 lbs by cutting out pop, chocolate bars and chips. I then got into a gym and started riding my mt bike. If anyone doesn’t believe that it can work I can show you before and after pictures of me from the previous 500 lbs I was to the 300 lbs I got to in two years.

Mine is the first story on this page. Yes, I am Kevin and I lost 150 lbs working with Craig. I dropped the last 50 lbs just from riding my bike and maintaining the healthy eating.

Sumos are Japanese generally.

I cut back on nothing, had KFC today for lunch then did a 6 mile run just before dinner. And being friday beers afterwards. I feel great. Doing a 1/2 marathon in two days, so the beer is part of my carbo loading.

I’ve lost > 10lbs (5kg) in the last 8 weeks. Yay for me.
