Those sites are loads of crap. I took one for the hell of it, got an almost certainly incorrect result, and got hammered with spam.

My average is 142, my top score was a 152, lowest was a 137.
half that stuff doesn’t even make sense to me!

Certainly should, as it is a normed and standardized test your results shouldn’t fluctuate too greatly, however the more exposure you have to analytical thinking and logic solutions, you can see improvements. You’ll be in college rather soon, if you keep mentally active I would assume you can bump your IQ by a fair margin.

That’s a very good one… If you get high on that one you are probably very smart. On most of the online IQ tests I get between 130-160… but on that one I can’t seem to bet above 125, and often get closer to 115. It’s my favorite. (I always love a challenge)

IQ is not supposed to change. It is supposed to be an estimate of how easily you can learn. Your IQ at 6 should be the same as that at 50. (providing you didn’t get brain damage)… Of course- it’s almost impossible to do so, because of learned techniques. (Like normal online IQ tests- They all follow the same pattern of techniques, once you catch on they are all Soooo EASY!)

I think if you can do that then it shows just how intelligent you are because you’re actually working out what the program is going to do next even though you didnt write it. Okay so you may not be any genius for it, but if you can spot that pattern very early on, as well as having solved the first few problems in order to deduce that pattern then I think you’re actually pretty darn clever.
IQ tests are subjective and it is best to not take online results seriously. Most of the ones I took placed me around 120-130 depending on the test but those were online ones so not the best estimate.

Thank you… I appreciate that. (I’m always quite vain when it comes to my intelligence- I enjoy my ego being boosted that way)
Anyways- IQ is actually a poor method of measuring intelligence- those who WANT to learn- are much more intelligent than those who just “are” smart. Which is kind-of my point with the Test being easy once you figure it out. I could teach a 10 year old to do well on one of those tests.

If you mean the test that was posted… then I agree. Most people here are posting one of the random ones from online. The test that was posted is INCREDIBLY hard to get a high score on. (I play these like video games)… The first time I took it I think I got 114… I still can’t get much higher than 125.

I think most people who are getting so high are actually taking one of the typical IQ tests online- Those are easy.

However scientists in Austrailia believe that for each hour of slep lost, you lose 1 IQ point.
My actual IQ is in and around 114
i’ve done some other tests before and got 150 on some of them, i wud say which site you got ur result on so comparisons actually mean something
My five year old nephew tried that for the whirl and got 84, is that good?
I agree this test is the hardest one Ive done scored a 130
score a 140-150 without even trying on some of the other ones Ive done. but admittedly they are easy.
i got a 132… but i am only 15 so i guess that isn’t very accurate.
my IQ is 123, but i’m sure its actually higher than that ;)
