Simple:
Women go to parties, not to find men, but to get lots of attention from men. And have power over them because men want those women.
Men go to parties, to get women, and think women do too.
So your guy thinks you are going there to date guys. Because that is what he would do.

And you might wonder how wrong he really is. Because fact is, you still go there to get attention. And meaning that you do not have enough with just him. Don’t wonder how much this says of him. But wonder what this says of you. It doesn’t matter that he thinks it is wrong. Essentially (though entirely different) You should wonder too.
