re-write things if you learn visually
talk to youself if you learn by hearing things
if you’re really screwed, do both
don’t panic though. and depending on what subject and/or format it is, make sure that you at least sound like you know what you are talking about, even if you’re totally wrong, it can sometimes still influence the result (it will make whoever is reading it subconciously feel more comfortable)
but don’t let that make you not study
commit for your three hours and focus, think about the matirial, not how much you hate it. good luck!

IF you have to remember dates, try to remember something a little bit interesting with the fact so it sticks into your head…I always forget my dates unless I do that…

I am a visual/kenesthetic learner. Rewriting it over and over helps me to remember.
