How do you put your itunes onto a cd?

I’ve got an itunes card, but have never used one before and I don’t want to waste money. Our computor sometimes breaks or has to be restored. When this happens I lose all of the music that I had put on itunes. How do I overcome this?
I have a hard drive which plugs in like an mp3 player. How can I put my itunes music on it, so if the computors breaks, I dont have to start over?

it depends on how big your library is. if its like 4 gbs, then take a dvd (blank one), go to file (top right corner), library, back up to disc. the dvd has to be big enough to hold your itunes library though…

I thought librarys could hold as much as you wanted. I thought it was just the ipod itself that mattered. my ipod has 30 gb, so theres nothing to worry about there. thank you to both of you.I will give them both a go.
