Can you be more specific regarding ping? If you are attempting to ping a site to see if you can connect.

run cmd on the run command in the start button.

tye ping and the ip address or web address you want to test.

I.E. I want to ping my wensite and I type ping www.davesworld.org.uk and it will tell me the time it took to reply. the same way a sonar works on a ship
