I already posted this but I feel the need to post it again.

My girlfriend still can’t stop crying. A few weeks ago her house burned to the ground. She lost everything she owned. She’s 14 years old and I’m 15. I have hugged her and kissed her and she still won’t smile.

:O

how awful! it’s prolly gonna be some time before she’d be alright…i’m sure it’d be awhile before i get over the fact that all my things are burnt down…i think the best you can do is be there for her and maybe ask what you can get for her?

I can only imagine how she must be feeling. Sounds like you’re already doing all you can. Just keep being there for her when she needs someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. Do your best to cheer her up, but know things won’t go back to normal right away. Perhaps give her some resources on where she can go to counseling if she needs it.

Losing everything to a fire is devastating. Trust me, been there. I lost my mother in a fire just over 5 years ago.

You are already doing the right thing. Be there for her and keep up the hugs and kisses. She is going to need a lot more of them.
