how can i help my best friend talk about the abortion she had and regrets.

she had an abortion @ 6 1/2 weeks, she really regrets it and gets really down cuz she feels if she sould of had it it would of stabilized her life… i dunno what to say when she brings it up… any sage words?
she had the abortion about 2 weeks ago…
we’re both 21, and im a guy( if it matters)

better yet… Just listen to her.. if it goes quiet, comfort her, but kind of keep it going by asking small inocent questions. The more she gets off her chest the better. but dont intrude, let her talk about it at her pace and just be supportive and comforting.

tell her that even now that she regrets it, at the time that she did what was right for her,and she made a responsible decision, whether that sounds heartless, i don’t know,but it’s true. perhaps she panicked when she found out she was pregnant? i would just be there for her and even though it hurts, ask her to discuss it more whenever she wants to talk rather than letting her keep it all bottled up inside.

All of the above comments are so true. Let her talk it out and just be there to listen. Put your arm around her and comfort her as much as you can.
