guitar set up.

i purchased a epiphone goth les paul studio recently and its been feeling a little bit off. when i play the note on the 2ed fret of the high e string it sounds like a sitar. the knobs have also been turning, they turn normally but the actual knob inside the guitar i think is moving. also i’ve been wondering if the neck is straight and stuff like that. can some one give me a little bit of help on how to fix this?

Did you purchase it new from a store? If so, you should take it back and have them look at it. It should still be under warranty if you just purchased it.
