Friends or Flirting?

What do you think?

Attention on me all day long except around people he doesn’t see all the time, but I’ll always pay attention to him- while other people will start to glaze over.

Asking me to go do things all the time, except it’s always causal friend things.

He wrote me a song and drew me a picture for my birthday (along with buying me a book.) but the song was jokingly-insulting and he’s the kind of person who does that sort of thing all the time.

We’re really good friends, and so I may be interpreting “friendship” for interest. How do you know when it crosses that line?

*And don’t say, wait until he makes a move… He is so convinced he’ll never date that he’s already given up making moves on girls.

honestly it kinda sounds like hes confused hahahahha
if i guy did all that and stuff i would consider it flirting
but then again he makes it sound like he wants to be friends
and if he said hes given up on dating im not so sure hes flirting

gah sorry im rambling, sorry if this didnt help much
over all i think hes confused about what he wants though.

I think I might agree… or more… I think I think I’m over thinking this.

If it were any other guy I’d agree he was crazy for me. In fact, for him- I think I agree… but then again… I really WANT him to like me.

My guess is he doesnt specifically like you that way now but he most likely wouldnt mind being a little more or at least trying if you want.

That’s probably accurate Sum… Only issue is that he’s such a great friend, that unless he was fairly into me, I’m no sure I’m willing to take that risk. Or perhaps he doesn’t think I’m interested, and he’s playing by the same rules I am (sadly- this wouldn’t surprise me in the least… we have EXACTLY the same dating style)

I suppose it should work out on its own. Boyfriend and girlfriend are just titles, you might become something like that without being all formal and might not notice right away but eventually both of you will notice and it would be natural feeling so I dont think you would lose him. Go with the flow, dont fight it too much.

That was my plan, until I started thinking he liked me. ha ha, First instincts are better… I like being friends with him.

Maybe you can just straight up ask him if he likes you but in the form of theoretical by asking “what ifs” or “I wonder what it would be like if” or something like that, that way you can always back out of it.

Yeah first instinct tend to me more right on sometimes but not always because times and feelings evolve

I could- but then it would be awkward if he didn’t. We have a good friendship now.
