yes I have. Flew from NS, Canada to AB, Canada by myself. It was a bit scary but it went well. I came from AB, Canada to NS, Canada with my fiance (:D) and it was much better!

I’ve traveled alone - around Morocco and Spain, parts of Australia, and flew to Norway from Denver by myself. In Spain, I was with a “friend” but we had a falling out and I had a much better time without her. I am a white female and I definitely had to be on guard a little bit, especially in parts of Morocco. But overall, I always had a great time traveling by myself. I highly recommend it. I also had a friend who traveled around Europe by herself… She was fine.

You just need to use common sense. When you are on your own, you can do whatever you want, and there is no tension about splitting time or compromising. If you stay in a hostel, you will meet others traveling, and they are often the best people to travel “with.”

I was in Paris a few times, but I was with someone - a jerky boyfriend, actually, I would have been better off without him! :) But Paris is awesome - a great city to walk around, little nooks and crannies everywhere, and you are bound to meet people there. Go for it!! It is just beautiful. I would get a baguette and some cheese and just walk around for hours. So great. Hope this helped!

I know lots of people that travelled alone and a friend is going in July by herself, you have to keep your wits about you and use your common sense, yes I have been to Paris and I love it, I hope to go again sometime soon, if the price of the euro drops again
