I thought I’d vent my concern and ask the feelings and perspective of the Cold War that is emerging between the East and West.
I mean there were 3 stories across 3 consequetive days that made me believe we were about to go to war.

Ive actually lost the 3rd one. But look it up and look up surrounding issues. Look up Issues with North Korea, with Iran, and when these issues crop up Russia and China veto any action taken against them. Then U.S.A has problems because it has countries in it’s back garden that would love to see them off the map.
And for me, I think both “sides” are playing a game in our environment. In Europe, the defence shields are being placed. And I will admit I do see sense putting them there and they will probably at this rate be made use of. But it isnt our battle.
I believe the EU is trying to becomne a superstate and prepare for the result of the Cold War that ensumes with each passing moment. I don’t think its a coincidence that 5 months after the whole of Europe is threatened[http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6269408.stm], the rather forceful and unconsented (by the people) [http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=treaty+of+lisbon&btnG=Google+Search& meta=&aq=f&oq=] take a look for yourselves.
