to me it kinda means like that even if ur being honest to help sum1 , wateva u say is always going to be bad/ cruel to yourself or sum1 else, n that each time ur honest ur guna end up hurtin at least 1 person anyway

Honestly honesty is a matter of who is saying it. And just because someone says something does not make it true. Whether it is cruel or not depends on the persons intentions and again u do not have to accept it as true.

I think it means peple would like to be the victum in life and have everyone feel sorry for them and cry them a river, but the cruel truth is that you can choose a better way by chosing Gods love and forgiveness, and that some stubborn people would rather deny Gods love and continue to suffer than to lay down their defenses and accept the way of light for themselves.
