I have the same problem, i don’t really open up to anyone. I have a deep seeded fear of failure and rejection. At times i try to open up and have found the courage to see my doctor about anti-depressants that i now take. Even now its still hard to open up though.

The key thing for me is to remember that you don’t have to open up to everyone.
Just open up to a few people, it definitely makes you feel better that having no one to talk to.

I do open up from time to time. Well, I don’t believe in failure (it’s a cultural fiction in my opinion) but I do fear rejection form time to time. This really stupid thing happend to me today, it’s really complex… are you guys up to reading it?

A lot of people is currently going through the troubles of opening up. It`s kinda frightening to leave oneself vulnerable to the world. Just take small steps and i`m shure you`ll be fine. This site is a great non-personal site to open up. A lot of people share similar probs and it`s easy to get help and understanding.

People often dont ask for help out of fear of being judged but you shouldnt worry people arent as bad as you think they are

People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing. Is it really the problem of opening up to people or is it the problem that they will discover who you really are?

Maybe it’s hard to ask for help, because you already know what you need…
Maybe it’s a hard task in front of you and you’re just stalling…

People don’t like to ask for help because of thier ego. It tells them that they dont need to get help, they can do it themselves. But you do need help sometimes, so when you feel like you cant ask for help, you should push yourself to.
