obviously there must be a reason so basically you just tell him and explain why appologise you cant make it and just say you’l be at his next one he will obv think more of you for telling him than just not turning up..

“Sorry, boyfriend, I can’t be at your gig! Are you sad? knock knock.” He says “Who’s there?” You say “Olive” He says, “Olive who?” You say “I love you so much, but I cannot be at your gig.” Then again you say “knock, knock.” He says “Who’s there?” You say “Boo” He says, “Boo Who?” You say “please don’t cry because I cannot be at your gig.” Problem solved. :)
