depression help: Help please. - Help.com

Help please.

I use entertainment and food to try and fill a void that has been nagging at me for some time now. I feel lonely…on the brink of depression and I don’t know if blogging about it does anything, or makes it worse. I can’t tell if it’s just the influence of the pop-culture industry (aka: the uncensored stuff on iTunes top 100) or who I hang out with. It’s not like I have an eating disorder either, and if my relatives knew I wrote this they would…possibly try to get me help. I don’t want sympathy or attention, I just need ways of keeping my positivity and fun levels at their highest; any help is appreciated.

Try working out; it may help you relieve some stress. Rock climbing works well too :)

Life doesnt afford you constant fun and positivity, if it did well…I wouldnt be sitting here with my history workbook ready to study for the next five hours…my parents wouldnt be getting ready to go to work tomm, ect. The point is you have to find goals, and your own rewards in what you do. You cant constantly find happiness in spheres outside of your own life, because then youll never appreciate reality.
