Who cares what your “friends” think? If you like it and you’re good at it, do it.

HAHAHA Royal Sport, thats hilarious. Nah archery is fun and rather gratifying. Do it for awhile and you may just surprise yourself when you’re sending a dull tip arrow through a piece of leather.

Archery has never been a royal sport, so your friends are completley wrong. At the begining of the middle ages it was a law that evryone in the country learn archery, which was the reason our early armies were so powerful because of our long bowmen. It was the peasants who were archers. The royals or the lords and the wealthy were cavalry.

lol

Archery is awesome! :P There is nothing wrong with it, and it has nothing to do with royalty.

I totally agree with knight_edg. Also, Native people used that long before, it was one of the weapons our ancestors figured out to make over years and years buy making a spear (Neandertals used) smaller with a bow and it was only for hunting purposes. Later on it was used in battles etc. In almost all cultures they used archery, even ancient Chinese. Today some still use it for hunting, others for sports. It is a fun sport. Enjoy it.

If your friends don’t like it its because they can’t do it or they are close minded. I love to shoot and have been doing it for a long time. So this christmas I bought my wife a bow so we could have something else to do together. My friend made fun of me A LOT, but I finaly decided it was just because they could not buy one for there wives because there wives are not open to even try it. Good Luck. stick with it. Its great stress relief.
