My girlfriend and I will be going to prom in about a month and a half together, and we are getting preparations done right now.

Theres one problem. She doesnt want to go in a limo, and I do. She has alot of things to pay off such as a new car and stuff, and cannot afford to go in the limo. She also said that she would not go in the limo if I payed for it. I do feel she can actually pay for it, but is too afraid to ask her parents for more money. Help me! What should I do!

If she is the thrifty kind and you are trying to make her spend more money than she can pay, then go with the flow. Make her happy. Do you just like to spend money and make other people spend theirs when they don’t want to?

In this case…

1. She is not paying for it, her parents are
2. You are no judge of what anyone can afford least of other adults that do not live in your house.

I think it’s great that she is being responsible in her spending habits. I really admire her!
