Survey for a class
Hi all,
I have no idea how effective this will be, but I’ll give it a shot. We’ve got a group project in one of my classes and my group still needs a few survey responses. We’ve got about 75 so far, with approximately 100 being the goal. If the results end up being interesting, it’s possible we might try to publish a paper on the topic, but I’m really only anticipating it’ll be a class project. If you should happen to be so inclined, I’d appreciate it if you’d consider taking the survey:
Essentially, the survey asks some questions about the time you spend with someone you’re close to — a parent, sibling, spouse, friend, whomever. Then you read a brief passage describing an individual hitting a home run in a baseball game, followed by questions about how you believe you would experience hitting the home run and how you think the person you’re close to would experience hitting that home run. We’re studying a psychological state of flow, which roughly has to do with concentration and challenge.
I recognize that taking the survey is kind of a pain, so I won’t be totally upset if you don’t want to take it. However, I and the rest of my group would really appreciate it if you’d be one of those last 25 we need. We’ll be collecting data for a few more days. Hopefully we’ll get enough.
Thanks!
