Why do people seem like they care at first but eventually

get annoyed and act like they dont give a **** and never cared to begin with if i die or not? Why is the world so sick? Is it really that bad to just talk about having a problem a lot? ******* seriously thats one of the reasons why I want to die sometimes is because it feels like no one actually cares. I cry, they laugh. I talk about killing myself they say not to but just as a principle point out of annoyance for me. I live sad, they dont give a **** obviously as long as im alive they wont feel guilty. If im dead, they laugh or dont give a **** and call me stupid. Very few people seem to really care anymore about anyone at all.

Or they could be selfish. I’ve learned the hard way that there are very few people in this world that actually care. Try to find those people and leave the other ones.

Poster: I understand completely. I am one to take care of others. I will do anything for my friends, family, or even a stranger. But now that I need someone, noone is there for me.

I hate ppl. I hate life.. I hate…

Been going thru that my whole life. Pick and choose your friends very carefully. In a galaxy far, far away it used to not be that way. There was an innocence and genuine concern for others. Head toward the light, or I should say, those of the light, and maybe you’ll find peace. You are part of this messed up world and you can help fix it. Just be picky about who you trust with your most precious thoughts and ideas. The truth is, some people don’t care and never will. They live their whole lives never learning anything except to take-and thenthere are the others-they are the ones you want to associate with

i think the problem is that lots of people dont understand pain if they havent felt it themselves so to them -when you say you wanna kill yourself- you are just a person thats overreacting..

poster, i understand what you feel and i sometimes feel the same way too. i was in depression for years and i though no one cared about what i felt or what i thought. it just fueled my anger and emotional distress. but when i looked into the world and saw no hope, i looked to god and saw hope. i understand that there’s one that cares about me and gave his life for me:jesus. it’s not about religion, it’s about friendship. and i’m hoping that you might think over this because my life has never been the same and i’m being real honest to you. it’s a peace and love i’ve never gotten before.

Everyone I know who “found jesus” goes through more **** than they did before, so thats kind of a not so cool friend considering hes not there… he was supposed to return but its taking him thousands of years

As another poster said, people are often selfish. I find that a lot of people refuse to help others feeling this way because perhaps they feel a similar way. A lot of people suffer with depression, and one depressed person talking to another doesn’t always help.
My boyfriend has no sympathy with people who feel like they want to die, because he had someone in his past try to kill themselves. Of course he would try to help someone, but in the end he’d probably do the, “fine, go ahead and kill yourself” like a lot of people do.
I’m not like that, but a lot of people are.
