healthcare so terrible?

The U.S. is the only wealthy industrialized nation, that does not ensure that all citizens have coverage, according to Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences

The U.K’s healthcare isnt so great either. Though we have the NHS, and our treatment is free (to an extent), we still have major problems regarding organisation, funding, management and facilities.

The United States healthcare system is completely overbloated. Our individualistic and capitalistic nature has hindered our path to a universal healthcare system followed by most industrialized nations in Asia and Europe. Sure, we have politicians and interest groups that push for reform, but I doubt any of it is going to pass without a major overhaul. Then again, nationalized healthcare has its faults as well, i.e. higher taxes, healthcare quality, etc.

Canada has free heath care! But only to an extent as well…. we do however have to pay for outpatient prescription drugs, physical therapy, long-term care, home care and dental care.

But ambulances are free, as well as organ transplants, giving birth etc and it doesnt drive you into debt if you are sick or have broken something. the real killer up here is the prescription drugs… outrageous prices!

Come to Canada, its purttty.

I think its because if you have money, you can pay for the vest doctor and the best care possible, where as if you dont have money your up the creek.

In Canada you cant pay for a really great doctor, I think thats why we have less doctors here, cause they make less money here.

The usa just enjoys ripping people off think about it a drug we pay for say an antibiotic we are paying 30,000 percent of what it actually costs to make… go figure everyone has to get a cut so we suffer for it.
