A good one - with a cohesive argument and valid research? Id say more than a few days.

A half *** one - 2 days, tops. 1 for research, basic notes and an outline, one for writing it out.

Determines how big the font is and if you double space or not.

use words like “can not” “will not” “it is” instead of “cant” “wont” “its”

but make note that several people probably use this method and im sure the prof can detect it after about the first page.

use a size 13 instead of a standard 12, its very unnoticeable

Hmm again, probably can detect that as well. it may not be overly noticeable, but it is still a difference. And next to 20 papers of 12 size font, he/she will be able to tell the difference.

And the poster asked how long it should take to write a paper, not how do I do less work and make it look like ive done more.
