Well depends on if you have money saved and where you want to live. Living in Tokyo is comparable to living in NYC. So you need to have enough money to cover the cost of living for at least 2 months while you look for a job. There are actually a ton of ways to secure an english teaching job before going to Japan. Some programs will even put you up in an apartment. I would start with one of these and then look for another job if you want.

i doubt they wud care at all
especially if ur not even there or hav a job or connections or anythng
save that for wen ur actually on their grounds
for now jus consetrate on getin the money to even think of living/moving there

my thoughts:
1) cash?
2) visa? check Jap embassy website for details, procedure
3) job? google for japanese jobsites, english teaching companies, etc
4) get yourself over there!
