Do you think your adoptive parents would be different? If you live in dubai, probably the ones who adopted you would be just the same. Wait until you are a good age, apply to school in the west. Get an education and be able to support yourself. Don’t get married to someone who is like your parents because then your husband will treat your daughters the same. When you can work and support yourself without husband then you can be truly free. Read more books from around the world. “None but yourself can free your mind.” (Bob Marley)
“They” won’t let you? You must take iniative. Go on-line, find schools, print applications and send them in if you can. If you have trouble with this, get help from someone with an open mind, like a teacher at school if you can find one. Look for someone who can advise you.
You can get separated from your parents. But your 15 and a girl in an Arab country. so until your 18 or 21 or whenever your recognized as an adult you can move out, leave the country or whatever. college or university in another country sounds good.
Ok, do you go to school now? Keep working on your education and get good marks. Still, maybe you have a teacher you can talk to - maybe they could talk to your father. Talk to your friends, too. You need emotional support. Maybe you can marry someone who’s a little understanding. Convince him to go to the west. Go with him. Don’t have a baby so going to school will be easier for you. When you get there you can get an education and a free life. When you grow up, don’t forget about this time in your life and try to help free other girls.
oh, this is my biggest challenge too! i’m thinking all the time of how to get out of this society , bytheway i’m from Egypt, NoGift is absolutely right, first you should educate yourself & develop your skills then when u’r 18 or 21 you can go.. that won’t be illegal!
You girls are truly breaking my heart. How many brilliant women with great intellects have been squashed under this? Some do escape, though. Don’t give up and keep freedom in your hearts even if you have to hide it from everyone. Your hearts and minds are free.
I am. I am so tired.. I know ya’ll say to wait till im 18+ but then it would be too late :( because I would have went and finished with my childhood/teenage years, i really want to free girls.. i dont want to see any girl suffer from this cuz its truly tooo much
