Hey i just bought a new zebra finch but im having trouble

with him , hes only a juvenile and he doesn’t no how to eat from the bowls ive got attached to the side of the cage i have to put food on the floor then he will eat it, he also doesn’t drink from the water bottle thing i bought him , im very scared so plz reply quick

leave the food and water in the bowls. he will eat or drink if he has no other choice. don’t freak out about it. it will all be okay. i have horses, they are the same way. but they dont have any other choice for water or food, they will eventually drink. just leave him alone and let him adjust to everything.. its a very confusing time for hi,.
