Well, to be honest, I have trouble believing that you don’t care, especially since you’re posting it on this site. What’s that matter? Why do you say that you don’t care?

Well don’t. This is all you have. So you better care. And if you didn’t care, you wouldn’t write on help.com to get others to try and change your mind. I’m just glad you did.

Go to a doctor already then. You dont care because things just arent right in your head, people arent designed to kill themselves. yes its normal to feel it, but its bad to act on it

just say whats making you not care, or whats wrong. Not like anyone is going to judge you

In the time it takes you to read this, a few others in the world have already taken their lives. You’re still alive, so you still have time to choose differently. Because suicide is very much a choice you have to make. It is not a choice that can be made for you. I am not here to talk you out of it. I am here to help you make a decision that you can live or die with in peace. It’s going to take about 5 minutes of your life, a life that you can’t see much point in continuing. But since you found your way here, another 5 minutes probably isn’t going to hurt anything.

In my few years online, I have met dozens if not tons of people who find themselves thinking the exact same thoughts you’re thinking — I can’t go on any longer. I just feel too overwhelmed by it all. Nobody loves me, and those who do are just saying it; they’re probably lying. I’ve gone on feeling so bad for so long, I just don’t feel like I can take it any more. I give up.

If you recognize yourself in some of those words, that’s good. That means that despite all of the bad feelings you’re feeling, you can identify some of those feelings that have been felt by others. Trust me, that won’t make anything I have to say easier. But it does give us a small reason to hope.

You are still alive. You are still reading. You are still you. One more light in a world of darkness. There is hope.

I don’t think it’s right to say that you aren’t right in the head; come on, is that really constructive. Chances are none of us are really entirely “right in the head,” but I digress. If your intent was to drum up some sort of buzz than you’ve certainly succeeded. However, I don’t know if this is going to help. Perhaps you should just follow the advice of the helpbot. I don’t know if any of us are really qualified to help you…if you really want help, I mean.

That’s alright, we all mince words at times. I noticed a ton of things I wish I could have corrected as soon as I posted. However, I’m beginning to think that whoever this person is, they aren’t intent upon responding…hopefully they will listen if they won’t talk.

Don’t rush anything. If they’re going to respond they will. It doesn’t help for all of us to get into a frenzy.

but either way it should be taken seriously.. for one if it is a joke, than there is still an underlining issue because for some reason they felt the reason to make this post. However there’s a very likely chance that it isn’t a joke. At least not in my opinion. So it shouldnt be taken lightly in either case.
The least we can do, is give our advice, and hope it helps.

Im here out of my own free will.

I think it’s normal to feel like you’ve stopped caring about things when you’ve been overloaded. That doesn’t mean you should hurt yourself; rather it means the opposite -that it’s time to back up a few steps and start taking better care of yourself.

Get some fresh air and exercise. Read a good book. Take a long bath. Find a dark closet and just cry for an hour. Call an old friend.

Take time for you. But don’t do anything that you can’t undo.

If they are going to make me wait all night, I think I have better things to be doing. If they actually want my help, they’ll let me know.

Still, it’s a little harsh.

Quite right, quite right. I wasn’t indicating that I felt as though this was a joke, but I was expressing some of my own skepticism. Believe me, I don’t take this lightly…but I like to account for the possibility that it may be a hoax.

I can understand that. It’s good look at things from different angles.

I’m not trying to insult you, but I can’t think of any nicer way to say this: you’re sounding slightly egotistical. It’s great that you’re willing to take the time for the concern of others, but it isn’t really about you or your time. If you feel as though this is a waste, you don’t have to pay attention to it.

It seems to be a human condition to value ones own time over others, even if lives may hang in the balance. However, I’m also putting words in your mouth and I apologize…I don’t mean to make you look bad or anything. I understand your frustration, I really do.
