i have a mecer laptop running windows vista.

i wanted to compress the dist to serve some space. After rebooting i get an error BOOTMGR is compressed press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. but this has yieded nothing. Iam afraid of losing so much information stored on this laptop. An solution please help
