converting videos to mp3

help! i have a video on my computer, and i need to convert it to mp3.
but everytime i do with online programs or audacity, its just a loud sharp one second noise

it depends on what type of codec your trying to convert from.. and what your using to play it :3..
i can put up some good converters.. in a min :D

Mp3 is a audio format. You mean extract audio file from video.Most video converter support little audio format.I know this video converter support extract audio file smoothly.It is have friendly interface.
