Ok this is a hypothetical question of physics.

I want to know if someone was put into a device, which had them laying on there belly and traveled faster than the speed of light for 30mins. everyday for a year, could they or would they get taller or shorter after the year is up. Again this is hypothetical

well that depends in which direction it traveled. if you mean up and down, assuming they weren’t crushed, nothing I dont think.

They would not be taller or shorter because of the simultaneity of the observation of us observing length contraction of them and them observing length contraction of us observing them. Although this case is only relativitic in the simplest sense; because no account is made for accelerating them up to the speed of light, which cannot be reached. You cannot travel AT the speed of light, but at any other speed (faster or slower).
