One of the best ways to SHOW someone that you love them is through sacrifice: Give up something you really like doing or something you really want in order to spend time with the person or give them something nice. For example, my girlfriend has been known to call me really late at night “just to talk”. To show her I care, I’m willing to give up sleep and listen to her because it’s obvious she needs to get something out. It can be as little as something like that, but trust me, it means a lot to the person who’s receiving it.
