Maybe we should quarantine Mexico City… or just enforce the immigration laws we already have in place. The only death in the USA so far is a child that a Mexican woman brought to Brownsville, Texas for some free healthcare.

Swine flu can be treated and cured using already existing flu and influenza treatments. However if it gets past a certain incubation period it can cause more severe symptoms and in extreme cases death. If you do feel like you have the flu all you need to do is visit your doctor who can then properly diagnose you and treat you. It is only deadly if left untreated. Your school will be closed to prevent the spread of the disease not becuase anyone at your school has it. It’s just a way to minimize risk to the population, so long as you wash your hands and visit the doctors when you feel ill you will be fine.

Your in no real danger as long as you wash your hands regularly and if you do feel ill if you go to the doctors straight away you will be fine. Its nothing to worry about if you act sensibly.

No, That wouldn’t happen unless it was classified as a pandemic and they had to impose a quarantine. They would advise people to remain in their homes and the military would be called in to create a quarantine area, they would then have military doctors enter houses and diagnose families, If someone was found to be infected they would be taken to a local hospital or a makeshift military hospital and treated.

That is the absolute worst case scenario and is very unlikely to happen now. I predict that in little under a month we wont be hearing much about this virus as its easily containable and treatable.

Frankly, I think everyone is making a big deal out of nothing (the pig flu). No offense to anyone (cause everyone would feel bad if it happend to a family member of theirs) but everyone has to die some day. With our vaccines and stuff, it’s only a matter of time till we all die of starvation (to many mouths to feed) or a freak accident (meteor). We are fighting the laws of nature. Lol

On a lighter note, closing the school could save some people. I always go to school regardless of wether i’m sick. More of an issue of pride and not wanting to make up homework later.

….I’ll shut it before I bring more negativity to this post. Have a good night everyone, and don’t die overnight from the swine flu. Honestly, how shameful would that be?
