Xanax stopped too quick?
I have been on Xanax for a couple of years on and off.. but for the last two months I have been taking 1-2mgs daily. Recently my doctor told me that at my age he thinks I should go to a therapist to try and talk about my anxiety and that he is not going to keep calling in scripts unless I do so. I can not afford the sessions at the therapist because I have a $1,000 deductable on new TYPE of doctors I have never seen, so I can only think I have to go to another family practice doctor? Hmm.. and he did not even really taper me down, he switched it to, two 0.5mg tablets once at night before bed, with a qty of 20!(10 day supply) I usually have bottles of 1.0mg tablets and the qty being 60, saying to take 1-3 tablets daily, (20-30 day supply) and then told me that there will be no more scripts unless you visit the therapist. So I don’t know.. hm..
