help!

I’m begging you. Its about weight loss…but its driving me crazy!!!
I’m 5 feet 1 inch, weigh 123 lbs and have been on a diet for 5 flipping weeks with absolutely no results. I eat around 1200 calories a day and for six days out of the week I jump rope for an hour and weight train for an hour. I just don’t get how this is possible. Am I mutant? Can I not lose weight but gain gain gain as much as possible? And its all in my hips! Everything else is slim but my thighs and the junk in the trunk. I just want some help. Some advice. What am I doing wrong? Though my jeans are a teeny weeny bit looser, I definately have not dropped a pants size and its almost been six weeks. Am I being ridiculous, impatient, or something? Mose people seem to lose at least 5 pounds in this amount of time. How long is this going to take? How long will it take till I drop my fat *** size 9 to at least a 4? And what will it take? Because, unless I’m going crazy, I’m doing the things I person aiming to lose weight should be doing. This is pushing me beyond the point of frustration, please, even if this bores you out of your wits, its a real problem for me, and its not like I’m doing jack squat about it…so…will you help me?

your eating 1200 calories and doing 2 hours of exercise.. your lucky if your burning that off.. Walking gets rd of fat most effectively so do two hours walking.

You’re weight training, muscle weighs more than fat, I bet you are slimmer but your weight hasn’t changed as what you’re losing in fat is just being converted into muscle.

Weights are good for muscle gain you numpty. Walking uses up fat deposits as an energy source. read my link http://help.com/post/259252-how-to-lo…

So…like an atkins diet and walking would be good for me? Could I still keep jump roping instead, because I read that was high intensity and good for burning calories, I don’t know about its ability to burn fat however…I don’t understand so much of this. But, how much carb should I eat a day then? Can I still eat my veggies and fruits? I’m a veggie, so replacing high carbs with meats won’t work for me. how long will it take to lose weight? i just need to have an idea…so I don’t get depressed and quit after let’s say a 5 week period :)
Thanks for all of everyone’s advice

Low intensity burns fat. fat and calories are not the same thing lol

Three form s of energy food. Stored(fat) and mineral(protein)

High intensity exercise uses food energy and low intensity uses stored(fat) as energy. protein is only used if no other energy source is available. So walking burns off fat much faster and more efficiently than anything else and means you don’t have to go on a diet so long as you walk say five miles a day. Walk to the next bus top if your early for your bus, get off a couple of stops early it all adds up.

1200 carbs sounds good stick to that, but instead of burning calories you want to directly target fat! so walking or low intensity exercise like yoga or step aerobics are best for you.

and my mate weighed about 24 stones, he lost two stones in 4 months just walking home from university and stopping drinking fizzy juice. the smaller you are the less weight you will lose, give it a couple of months till you see a difference. you will feel the difference first though.
