I’m sure this will get me a lot of negative feedback but please hear me out.
I am a 30 year old nurse who recently got divorced. Before the divorce I had excellent health/dental insurance through my ex-husband’s employer. Once the divorce was finalized I was no longer covered though I am thankful that my ex continued to cover our son. Before the divorce I was working with a dentist on a plan to get my teeth fixed. While I was a young teen up through my early adult years I battled with a severe eating disorder and it affected my teeth to the point where I no longer feel comfortable smiling. I am normally a socially outgoing person but I live in fear of someone noticing how bad my teeth are. I am ashamed and worried that I will have to get them all pulled and end up with false teeth. I have tried going to a dentist for a quote but without insurance it will cost around 6,000!! Does anyone know of a good dentist who does restorative care that works out affordable payment options? I don’t have good credit at the moment but what bills I have get paid on time. Please.. any help would be appreciated.
