life help: Need Name Ideas!

Need Name Ideas!

Starting a Christian band is easy. The name I wanted, Searchlight, is already taken. So I came up with 12 more: Livewire, Fearless Company, The Chosen, APTFALL (always praising the father and loving life), Static Story, Servants of the A&O, The Foreigners, At What Cost, Heart of the Matter, The Revealing Factor, The Master Design, and WTL (Way Truth Life). My Youth Leader doesn’t like any of these though, and static isn’t a good idea so…yeah. I like anything that has to do with fire, moonlight, rain, water, lightning or storms, but I would preferably enjoy something that has biblical basis. Any ideas?

Hmm…Good, but no…I want it to tie in more with Christianity. Like Searchlight, the name I wanted but is taken, was based off the parable of the lost sheep and the idea that God will always look for you and find you no matter what.

Well, I don’t know if this is really what you’re looking for, but here goes. I thought of this name a few years ago. My youth group was talking about how God is the author of everything, like music, the arts, etc. because he invented them. We talked about how a time was coming when he would reclaim the arts for his own. So i thought of the name “Taking Back Poetry” as a band name.

i think i am getting too tired to keep up with the thread… rock wasn’t my focus was it…. and to be honest even though the names were hebrew i used them because of the meaning behind them which i thought tied in with the whole christian thing rather than because they wer hebrew…. i’ll sleep on it…maybe i’ll get inspiration in a dream or something… good nite everyone.

I like the “Nail in the Cross” and “Sacrifical Lamb”. They are VERY Christian and they are good names for a band but I wonder if Anon would like them too.
