I think we all do from time to time. No matter how self confident we are, we need reassurance and to hear it from someone else to truly believe it.

Thank you. I’m glad I’m not alone. I’m usually a very positive person, but my life has fallen apart this year and I’m lost in hopelessness.

Yes! I know that feeling! But I try to remember that even when I feel like theres nothing positive about myself that its not true. If you’re feeling like that then you could always try calling a family member or friend just for a chat, they’re bound to see something good in you if they’re your friends after all!
Help lines also are handy if you need someone to talk to…also handy at 4am in the morning when no one else is awake.

You really understand how other people feel. You’re right! People do need to be reassured. That way they know they are going in the right direction!

Best wishes,
Kairi

My new attitude is that if you notice something you like, think is pretty or awesome or any other good thing about someone (yes, even strangers) that you should tell the person. I have found it wonderfully uplifting to randomly tell others nice things about themselves. I’ve seen this lift other people too.

Thank you Kairi. I wish I knew if I were going in the right direction. I’m so conflicted.
