Do girls like it when guys go out of their way for them?

I grew my hair out, got a tattoo, and worked out because the girl that I have a crush on likes those things in a guy. How do I go about it by telling her that I did those things for her?

Eeeee…. that would scare the **** out of me if I was this girl.

No, some girls do not like it - pretty much any girl that I know wouldn’t like it. Girls like when guys are confident and independent, not ones who will do whatever they say. That’s boring. And it sounds kind of clingy too.

Girls really do like it when someone goes out of their way for them, like being supportive, being a true friend etc. When it comes to appearance changes, tread carefully. Only do something that you would have done anyway, not just to please. You’re still you and you have to feel comfortable with Who you are - that’s what will get you noticed.

Btw, if she’s a crush and not someone you are going out with, then I’d refrain from telling her that you did it for her.

I kind of agree with usurper.

More, I wouldn’t tell her I did those things “for” her… more just- let it be known that you are her type of guy. (eh, show off the tattoo a little, etc. )

Just hang out- be cool. Not creepy/clingy.

Besides- it sounds like she also probably likes the personality that goes with that. Strong, independent, rebellious, etc. Is that you?

Don’t change yourself physically to fit with someone else - a true fit doesn’t require that. All that appearance stuff doesn’t matter in the long run.

I think if you want that girl to like you genuinly, you need to just be yourself. If i knew that a guy completely changed himself (physically or not) for me I would be a litte dissapointed because thats not getting to know the real him right?

very true… besides- People can’t keep up acts forever.

If your appearance changes- that’s one thing… although I think your changes are silly (especially that tattoo)… but I can see trying a different style to get more attention- that’s part of your personality (I guess)

But stay you… ok? Act like you, be yourself, etc.
