I am an NYC teacher ripped out of my classroolm and placed in the “rubber room” for reasons that will not be explained for a month.

I will not get to defend myself unitl next fall. I share the space with many full salaried people not working and slipping into the abyss of insanity as we are not alloed to leave our floor.

As far as I can tell.. the school thought he did something (and he can’t find out what it is for 30 days) so he is still on pay but he is locked in a house unable to teach, and is going insane from boredom/isolation
