Just a good breakfast, really. I also like waking up an hour earlier than I need to to adjust and wake up.

Energy drinks are worse than coffee! That’s like if you quit smoking weed and started smoking crack as a substitute.

Nothing is exactly like coffee. Find a new treat you like and replace coffee with it. Like a smoothy. Something with lots of fruit will leaving you feeling vibrant at the very least.

hot apple cider! yum! Teas pretty good too though…or, take pure lemon juice, add a bit of water and sugar, heat it up, and drink that! Sour, but really good. Peps you right up. :)

green tea and oatmeal with blueberries. wakes me up every day.
different tea if you don’t like green, just make sure it’s not iced tea or some garbage like that.

coffee with a little less coffee powder, little less sugar and dip a tea bag in it a a few …. it’s different.

woudln’t that be like… tea with milk?

anyways, its usually meant to keep me awake on first class after a sleepless night,
which is often the case.
so i can’t really make my own there, it’s from a coffee shop.
and the coffee has this effect that makes you even more tired after a while.
plus it aches my stomach but my guess is thats because of the milk.

i bring fruits too, but keep them for the later classes to hold me awake.

Tea is a great replacement for coffee along with a good healthy breakfast. It can be something simple like cereal, juice, yoghurt and an apple. Apples are actually a good source of energy which gets released slowly throughout the morning. This should help you up until lunch time.

OMG EAT EGGS! they are like energy drinks that you cook and they are good for you too. NEVER start your day with energy drinks. its far worse than coffee and can cause numerouse health prroblems, including diabetes.

i don’t eat eggs.
and i have about two and a half hours after breakfast before i get there,
i can’t cook there, or carry milk or cereals, nor i have time to eat them before class, i just board off the train and run for it,
if i catch the early train i have about 15 minuets more to go buy some coffee,
so i usually do. did.

at home i do drink tea, and sometimes eat cereals and toasts too, but by the time i get there i’m dead tired again.

I said at the post, it started giving me stomach ach
and after a while when its waking effect wears off, i become even more tired.
(this is unlike fruits, for example, which leaves you with more glucose in the blood than there was, after the “peak” passes.)

Idk, but it doesn’t seem like it’s the coffee you need to be thinking about. You’re so tired in the morn - try going to bed earlier. You said you’re not feeding yourself v well, so maybe try feeding yourself well.

Sleep and food; they do wonders:)

If you’re getting stomach ache, I really think you need to think about what you are eating. Don’t look for an alternative stimulating drink to replace your caffein hit. Sort it out with a good diet. If it doesn’t get better, go to the doc.

Hope you’re ok.
