Here’s an idea that just popped in my head about asking a friend of mine to prom.

I’d like to get your feedback on it, because I don’t know whether or not it’s lame (I won’t get mad if you don’t like it). I want to ask this friend of mine to get coffee with me sometime soon. I am going to go into the café before I pick her up, and tell the barista that when I come back in (with her) in 20 minutes, to write P-R-O-M-? on the side of the her coffee cup (where there are little boxes for nonfat, decaf, etc.) when she orders. Then, she’ll obviously see it once she is given her drink. What are your thoughts?

Sounds like fun but only if she already likes you. Proms are pretty serious for women and they usually have dates lined up a long time in advance. The local High School had their prom last weekend.

i think its cute! (hey, im a teenage girl i should know right?) but she might not get it right away. be prepared for her not to notice at all, but i thinks its adorable!!
