Can showering with your glasses on cause them to break?

I need to be able to see and I can’t shower with my contacts in unless I’m really careful.

You don’t really need to see in the shower, not immense detail anyway and I would have thought that wearing glasses in the shower would make your vision worse as the glasses would steam up and have water all over them.
But anyhow, no the won’t break in the shower.

But with water pouring all over your glasses you wont be able to see anyway, do you know what I mean? I’ve tried to shower with my glasses on, it’s impossible

If you slip and fall on your face in the shower your glasses will break as will your nose and a few teeth. The answer is yes…
