Need help from anyone who’s good with science/doctor’y stuff and it’s kinda urgent.

Ok, basically, my best mate has been getting really weird pains in her torso. Her stomach hurts loads in the upper middle area of it, especially if she stretches, and it feels like her stomach is stretching. She is now also getting pains in her right side of her chest. For a couple of days now, she has got up feeling really sick.

Does anyone know what’s wrong that can help please?

Oh, and by the way, she is refusing point blank to go to a doctor (she hates them), but if it’s serious then I will literally drag her there if I have to. I’m the only one she has told about this, but I have absolutely no idea what’s up with her.

Help is much appreiciated :)

Wait is this the same person who splashed themselves with bleach some time ago? Its starting to sound like she might need to get a therapist or something, shes craving attention a lot. =/

Even if she refuses to go to a doctor you can still call one and talk to them maybe.

or at least try searching on here to match her symptoms.

Where are you?
If you are in UK you can call NHS direct and they have nurses on hand 24/7 to answer any problems like that but be warned most answers they give are “better go get it checked at hospital”

Yeah I’m UK. I’m using that site that sum provided for me, currently narrowed it down to 20 things (not great).

Thanks. She says it’s stopped now. I’ll give it til tomorrow, and if it’s still doing it, I’ll have to give them a ring.

Thanks again :)

Just because she is feeling better, it is only temporary. She needs an ultrasound done to see her internal organs. She needs blood test, urine test done to see if any infections occured. Any toxic substance in her body can cause this pain. She needs medical attention. Don’t delay it.

“Pain in the upper abdomen and upper back. The pain may last a long time (several hours).
Nausea
Vomiting
Other gastrointestinal problems, including bloating, indigestion, and gas”

She said upper abdomen and nausea >_

Yeap, gallstones have all those reactions especially vomiting and nausea. Take her now to the hospital.

Didn’t I tell you? I am glad she is OK now. I hope she got a list of food she can and can’t eat.
