This is really important to me and any advice would be appreciated…

One of my few inspirational, dedicated and exceptional teachers is leaving (as another teacher is returning to resume her place after a few years of absence) at the end of term. ALL her students are very upset and annoyed at this as anyone who has had a brilliant teacher who influenced them in a positive way will know that teachers like this are very rare.
Anyway, we are going to hold her a type of party but I really need some ideas on a class present - something to show how important she has been to her students.
She is an English teacher obsessed with Baz Luhrmann and Commedia dell’Arte, along with MANY other literature related topics (suprise)
Any ideas would be appreciated.

maybe you could do the kinda party they had in Romeo+Juliet, by Baz Luhrman, you know like a fancy dress party xD prepare some wings for her and let her be juliet lol… i dont know, that my idea :)

FLowers are always apreciated, along with a card signed by all te students. Or, maybe a picture of your entire class, with the names/notes from all the students on the boarder?

We would be doing that along with a present…a yearbook type thing, but made specifically for the teacher only with our class.
